CH9225 is an USB 2.0 HS/FS and UVC compliant camera controller,
The built-in extreme low-power transceiver provides the superior compatibility with USB host and the best quality for image applications.

— USB 2.0 Controller
CH9225 integrates USB 2.0 transceiver that is optimized for high performance data transfer rate, high speed MCU and DC-to-DC regulators, sensor controller, color processing and noise reduction into a single chip

— Image Signal Processing Unit
UVC defined image processing functions are supported by using sensor’s ISP engine. CH9220 supports Gamma/Hue/Saturation/Contrast/Brightness engines processing functions. These functions are very useful to compensate intrinsic inaccuracy in lens and image sensor to get better image quality.

— Image Sensor Interface
CH9225 have MIPI one lane for video transfer/control with target CMOS image sensor. It can support most available CMOS sensors from VGA (640x480) to 2M (1920x1080) resolution.

— Built-in Regulator
CH9225 integrates 4 regulators to save BOM cost and PCB area. One regulator is designed to convert 3.3V to 2.8V for sensor pixel power. One regulator is designed to convert 3.3V to 1.8V/2.8V for sensor I/O power. One regulator is designed to convert 3.3V to 1.2V for core power, the other one regulator is designed to convert 3.3V to 2.8V/1.8V I/O power.

— Wide range system clock output
CH9225 can be programmable system clock output for performance and power saving. Additional clock output with various clock speed ranged up to 96MHz is provided for video capture module.
